The UAE is the first choice for young Arabs to live in, according to the new findings of the Arab Youth Survey 2017.

The 9th annual ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller survey saw the UAE beat the US and Canada to claim the top spot, with 35% of the votes from 3,500 survey participants.

Among Arab youth, the UAE was strongly associated with safety and security (31%), having a growing economy (25%), wide range of work opportunities (23%) and generous salary packages (22%). Another 17% chose the UAE as a good place to raise a family.

The survey was conducted via 3,500 face-to-face interviews with Arab national men and women aged 18-24 between February 7 and March 7, 2017, across 16 regional countries.
