Safia Alemary is an Egyptian actress and Goodwill Ambassador of the International Federation for Peace and Sustainable Development at the United Nation since 2006.
In 2000 she began Goodwill Ambassador for UNFPA.

She began her career as a journalist, after graduating from the Faculty of Commerce. She studied Russian Language and worked in TV talk shows for 4 months and then she was noted by the great producer Ramses Nagib who introduced her to the cinema.

Safia first came to Dubai in the ‘80s to film a television series at Dubai Studios.  “We produced the best television here”, she says. “Ever since I arrived here, I loved Dubai. I  still visit a lot to take part in social and humanitarian activities. Since I’m goodwill ambassador, I have a lot to attend here. One of the most important for me is Rashid Centre for the Determined Ones".
