Over 180,000 people gathered in Abu Dhabi today for the first ever Papal Mass in a Gulf state.

It was the culmination of a historic three-day visit to the UAE by Pope Francis.

Yesterday, he signed a historic document along with Dr. Ahmad Al Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar.

The Declaration of Human Fraternity denounces terrorism and encourage harmony between faiths and the Eastern and Western worlds.

The message will be spread by Dr. Ahmad and Pope Francis.

Meantime, it’s also been announced a new mosque and church will be built side by side in Abu Dhabi, and both the Pope and Grand Imam of Alzhar have been given the very first Human Fraternity award.
