Love at first sight bonded the British Alison Collins to a home in Bur Dubai’s Al Fahidi district back in 1978.

Several years later, she turned this home into a gallery for fine art in 1989, which served as a special space for creative minds to meet ; a place to promote works of exceptional artists.

After more than 40 years in business, the Majlis announced it’s final show this week (till the 16th of October).

Hoping with closure, future generations could start a new era for the house.

Collins refuses to call this an end of a journey, but rather a new start to her story.
